Scott M. Vernick represents companies and individuals in a broad range of complex commercial litigation matters.  Scott’s practice focuses on business disputes, products liability, and complex contractual disputes and tort claims.

Prior to joining Conrad O'Brien, Scott was an Associate at a national law firm in Philadelphia, where he focused his practice on defending clients in products liability and commercial disputes.

Scott attended Temple Law School as a Faculty Merit Scholar, graduating magna cum laude in 2014.  During his 3L year, Scott served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Lynne A. Sitarski of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Additionally, during law school, Scott was a member of the International & Comparative Law Review and a teaching assistant for Contracts Law.  Scott was awarded the trial advocacy program’s Barristers’ Award for excellence in oral advocacy, and upon graduation, was elected to the Order of the Coif.

Scott received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating cum laude in 2010.  At Penn, Scott studied cognition and neuroscience, and continues to maintain an interest in these fields today.  Scott is a native of the Philadelphia area and attended high school in Montgomery County.  In his free time, Scott enjoys playing basketball, golf and tennis, rooting on his Philadelphia sports teams, and spending time with his wife in the city and relaxing at the Jersey Shore.
